A Mob Division is essentially a mob-within-a-mob. Having two tiers of mobs allows you to have a single mob that is separated into subgroups for management or reference purposes. For example, maybe you have Merino Ewes which you would like to regard as a single mob but they are divided into smaller mobs in different paddocks as breeding lines, or maybe preg tested and separated by singles, multiple and dry.

You can move Mob Divisions around independently or recombine them back into a single level Mob - it's basically extra flexibility to more accurately represent your mobs as they actually exist!

To divide a mob, go to: Add Livestock Activity > Mob Management > Divide.
